Earth day coloring contest 2023

Dear Planet Earth, I just wanted to thank you for the people in our community!
Congratulations to Audrey Larue-Bruneau who won the $50 Metro Gift Card for her participation in the Earth Day Colouring Contest! When asked what she intends to buy at Metro with her gift card, Audrey indicated that she intends to buy $10 worth of popsicles and with the balance, buy food for the food bank. What a beautiful gesture!

A very special thanks to Metro’s manager Sarah who donated the $50 gift card and to Metro Staff and Julie from the Ottawa Public Library (Blackburn Hamlet branch) for their help with the contest! Selected drawings will be on display at the Ottawa Public Library (Blackburn Hamlet branch) and Metro (Blackburn) for a short period. Please take the time to see them, they are quite beautiful! Thanks again to everyone who participated!
