Join us in celebrating the graduating students of our community on Saturday, June 26th, 2021!
This June marks our second year celebrating the grads of Blackburn Hamlet with an LED sign that will be driven along a route of their homes. This digital sign will display photos, personal messages, and even play song requests! Neighbours and friends are invited to follow along on foot, by bike, or car to honk and cheer them on.
Graduates should stand outside of their homes starting at 10AM, at a safe physical distance, to view their own personalized greeting as it comes by.
Starting at 9AM before the tour, as well as after the tour is complete, you will also be able to view and take photos with the digital sign stationed at the centre of the Hamlet, along the intersection of Bearbrook and Innes.
A map will be shared with the community in the days leading up to our neighbourhood tour.
The pandemic has certainly posed many challenges, but thanks to businesses like UTG Digital Media, we have come up with a fun alternative to help celebrate these meaningful milestones. Whether you are moving up from kindergarten to grade one, finishing up elementary school, high school, college, or university, we are so proud of your accomplishments and can’t wait to cheer you on as you begin the next chapter of your life!
