After a long hiatus, the Blackburn Hamlet Garden Tour is back!
Put on your walking shoes and join us in viewing the Hamlet’s gardens. The date is both July 9th and 10th 2022. Time: 10am- 4pm. Free and open to all to attend.
Those wishing to put their gardens on the tour, should contact Cynthia Hoisak at gardentour@blackburnhamlet.ca. The deadline for entries is June 15, 2022. A map of the tour is available on Google Maps, in our Brochure and will be available in print at various establishments.
This year has been proclaimed the Year of the Garden 2022. Live the Garden Life. It is the first time a country has ever done this. National Garden Day is June 18, Garden Days June 11- June 19. The colour for planting is red. livethegardenlife.gardenscanada.ca.

Kiwi Gardens, Perth, kiwigardens.ca . They have Art in the Garden every year over Father’s Day weekend. This year, on June 17, 18 & 19, Artists in metal, pottery, wood, stone and other mediums, all relating to garden art, will be showcasing their work nestled throughout the forest, lawns and gardens.
In the same country, but a bit late for this year, is Keukenhof, a spring bonanza of various flowering bulbs that are on show this year March 24- May 15, 2022. This is a yearly event. Keukenhof.nl
