The goal of the Beautification team is to make Blackburn Hamlet an attractive and welcoming community. As we look ahead, we would like to broaden our goals for the beautification of Blackburn. We are always looking for volunteers to join our BCA Beautification Committee with new ideas. There are so many magnificent gardens and gardeners in our neighborhood! By Miriam Hampson, BCA Director of Beautification As the last days of summer fade into fall, the BCA gardens throughout our Blackburn Hamlet neighborhood are still bursting with color and life—thanks to a remarkable group of volunteers who gave their time (and sweat!) to keep them thriving. This year, 18 dedicated volunteers made up the - Garden Tour 2025 Results!
The 2025 edition of the BCA Garden tour is over and it was a success despite the storm on Sunday afternoon. This year, we raised a total of $1,713 for our local Food Bank and added new activities, including a show by The Fake McCoys and participation from Just Food farms.
