The Community Christmas Tree Brought Us Together

Don Kelly, Coordinator

The annual lighting of the BCA Community Christmas Tree was held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in front of the Blackburn Pharmacy, at the corner of Innes & South Park. This year the event was held earlier than in previous years to allow more families to attend with their younger children. Although we had a lower attendance than in previous years residents were able to share quality time in the celebration of the Christmas spirit. There were gifts and treats for the kids and hot chocolate served with marshmallows.

Our Councillor, Laura Dudas, and Lou Frangian, owner of the Blackburn Pharmacy, did the official lighting of the tree and the surrounding decorations. It was a joyous occasion and the BCA thanks everyone for their support of this community event.

We hope many more of our residents can join us this December as we once again celebrate the festive season. See you there!
