It is the end of an era. Stéphane and his team have begun winding down operations as they close the doors to J&S. He and his team have been a landmark in Blackburn Hamlet for decades, with the children of his first customers now grown and longstanding patrons themselves.
The Blackburn Hamlet Community Association – BCA and Councillor Dudas visited J&S on Wednesday morning for a bitter-sweet send-off visit. The BCA presented a card made by a local artist with a beautiful rendering of the shop. The card will be at the front desk over the coming days for those who wish to sign it and leave Steph and his team with a parting message.
