Brent Lawrie, Blackburn FunFair Chair
Thanks to the whole community for supporting 2022’s excellent FunFair. With all the great participation and sponsorship support, we were able to raise $15,015 which has been put directly back into our Blackburn community. This is an amazing accomplishment, as we successfully held an old-time FunFair! Please see the Honourariums distribution list. Each honorarium was worth $231.
Make sure to mark your calendars for this year’s FunFair which will be June 2 to June 4, 2023. Planning has already started with a fantastic volunteer appreciation party to kick off our first meeting of the year. We have a great team of volunteers to help organise the FunFair and we are always looking for more people who would like to contribute to a wonderful community event. Please consider giving some of your time to help us keep this annual tradition a great success, you won’t regret it. Send your email to funfairchair@gmail.com, or check the Volunteer Box on our BCA website if you would like to join our excellent team.
