Over 200 Blackburn residents helped to clean-up the neighbourhood on Saturday, April 24, 2004 – that’s our biggest turnout yet! Well over 100 bags of litter were collected, as well as at least 40 leaf and yard waste bags. A big thank you goes out to each person and family that took the time out of busy schedules to pitch into this community effort.
Many thanks also to all those who helped out in other ways such as organizing the clean-up routes, transporting waste back to the Community Centre, flipping the burgers, and providing City of Ottawa door prizes.
