Join the BCA and your neighbors as we clean up the main streets and parks of Blackburn in honour of Earth Day. Meet us at the Community Hall, where we will provide garbage bags and latex gloves, and help you choose an area for litter pick-up. Participants are invited to join us afterwards at 11:30 am for the annual photo to show the impact of our effort, and a BBQ (including vegetarian options) to say thanks for all your ‘dirty’ work. This event is for everyone: whether you are new to the community or you’ve lived here for years; if you’re a high school student looking for volunteer hours; if you have children attending school in the area; or if you’re looking to get out and get moving once the snow banks have finally melted!
