We’re Back in the Hamlet!

Cancer Chase 2024

Cancer Chase is returning to Blackburn Hamlet in 2024.  Mark September 8, 2024 on your calendar and join us at the Blackburn Community Hall, 190 Glen Park Drive. This year’s theme is “Chase the Cure” and all funds raised go directly to cancer research at the Ottawa Hospital via the Ottawa Hospital Foundation.

This year the BCA Cancer Chase event will have a variety of activities, from the Silent Auction where many incredible products will be made available at significantly reduced prices, to the Family Orientated Walk/Run of 5K. Each registrant of the Walk/Run event will receive a Swag Bag. The Swag Bag holds trinkets, snacks for all ages. There will also be Prizes for Participants. Each registrant will also receive a wrist bracelet that reads “Chase the Cure”. We may even have Face Painting! After the Walk/Run come join us for a Yoga session and learn about pranayama, meditation and led relaxation. There will be a Fire Truck onsite to allow everyone (especially the kids) to climb aboard Big Red.
