What a spectacular day for a community tradition! The weather was great and everyone from young to old had a wonderful time. Fortified with a delicious pancake breakfast, everyone from the small ones on decorated bikes to our senior citizens came out to join in the parade. The community music stage was a hit and our young people showed us how they could belt out the songs on the karaoke stage. All the new games and activities were busy as well as the favourites from past years such as the pony rides and petting zoo.
Special thanks to the Fun Fair Board of Directors for a job well done. The board included: Gord Hawley (chair), Peter Holt, Sandra Hobbs, Jason Dubue, Angie Hopkins, Jane Mahoney, Rose Moore, Jason Dupuis, Dan Hobbs, Bev Hobbs and Brenda Sowden.
