LOOKING FOR NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH BLOCK CAPTAINS
The BCA Safety team are holding an evening information session on Monday, February 24, at the Blackburn Community Centre (190 Glen Park Drive) on the new look of the Neighborhood Watch Program. The information session will be from 7-9pm. The event will be presented by the Ottawa Police Services (OPS) and BCA Safety and will include these subjects:
- New role in community for Community Police Officers
- Use of new OPS Crime App by residents
- Role of NW Block Captains in Emergency Preparedness
- New NW communication network for Blackburn Hamlet Block Captains
Anyone interested in being a Block Captain is encouraged to attend. Registration is requested. Please send confirmation of your attendance to safety@blackburnhamlet.ca.
