Around the World in 80 Minutes — Potluck Lunch and Travel Stories
When: Saturday, June 22, 2024, 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Where: Blackburn Community Hall, 190 Glen Park Drive
Blackburn Seniors are invited to join us for a potluck lunch and afternoon of sharing great stories from other cities and countries. No registration is necessary.
Bring a favourite shareable dish (appetizer, salad, main or dessert) and get ready for a fun afternoon. There will be a trivia game, door prizes and at least one moment that will make you say: “Hmm, I never knew that…”.
Cutlery, napkins, plates and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Please bring your own serving utensils and, if you wish, a copy of your recipe…just in case people ask you for it.
Blackburn residents have lived and travelled all over the world and have a wealth of wonderful stories about their experiences. If you would like to tell others about a place you have lived or visited, or have any questions about the event, please email seniors@blackburnhamlet.ca.
