DESCRIPTION:LOOKING FOR NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH BLOCK CAPTAINS \nThe BCA Safety team are holding an evening information session on Monday\, February 24\, at the Blackburn Community Centre (190 Glen Park Drive) on the new look of the Neighborhood Watch Program. The information session will be from 7-9pm. The event will be presented by the Ottawa Police Services (OPS) and BCA Safety and will include these subjects: \n\nNew role in community for Community Police Officers\nUse of new OPS Crime App by residents\nRole of NW Block Captains in Emergency Preparedness\nNew NW communication network for Blackburn Hamlet Block Captains\n\nAnyone interested in being a Block Captain is encouraged to attend. Registration is requested. Please send confirmation of your attendance to safety@blackburnhamlet.ca. \nRefreshments will be served.
