DESCRIPTION:University of Ottawa researchers\, led by Dr. Manisha Kulkarni\, are conducting the UPTick project on ticks and Lyme disease in several Ottawa neighbourhoods. The project aims to assess the impacts of urban landscapes on tick populations and tick-borne disease transmission. \nThe team will give a virtual presentation on February 1st from 6:30 to 7:15 pm to share information about this project and other tick-related research studies they are conducting in Ottawa. \nPlease mark your calendar and you are welcome to join via the registration link: https://uottawa-ca.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_s1VAOJXgS564i9jHG8QB-A \nThis event in English will take place online as a video conference through Zoom. This is a fun snowshoeing event and opportunity to socialize outdoors! All skill levels and ages are welcome (children must be accompanied). Please do not bring any dogs.
