Community Closet Pop-Up Events

Our Community Closet provides residents with access to gently used clothing donated by Blackburn Hamlet Community Members. This popular event has been divided into more manageable events broken into different age groups. The first event of 2024 will be an Adult Pop-up on May 11, 2024 and the second event will be a Children’s Clothing Pop-up on October 19, 2024.

Clothing Swap Tool Kit

This document provides some basic guidance for setting up and running a small clothing swap event. Similar to the Community Closet run by the BCA, clothing swaps provide participants an opportunity to refresh their wardrobes in a sustainable, affordable way by exchanging donating articles. They can be run as large community events or in smaller, more intimate gatherings between friends, family, and/or colleagues. Clothing left over from swaps can be donated to the BCA for future Community Closet events.  Download the Took Kit Document now!
