The Blackburn Community Association's Walk Audit is now online! - Blackburn Hamlet Community Association

You can now download the final copy of the Walk Audit of Blackburn Hamlet.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the audit on January 21, 2017 and to the community association’s partners: The Council on Aging and Amica at Bearbrook.

A huge thank you to John Balint, BCA Environment and Transportation Director, who compiled the information for the report and developed the maps used during the audit.

The audit focused on examining infrastructure, winter maintenance, pathways and crossings for possible walkability and accessibility issues. Local schools participated in their own audits and some of their findings have been included in the final community report.

The next step will be to present the final document to our Councillor, share it with the wider community, and start working on fixing any issues identified in the report for the betterment of our community.
