A little birdie told us about an amazing project at Norman Johnston Alternate Program. Laura Cardiff writes:
We have built some beautiful gardens and the students are absolutely loving the fact that we grow our own food and create amazing meals with the produce from the gardens. We have been learning about food security and sustainability and it seems to be really engaging our at risk youth.
We have been blogging about our experiences and learnings in the garden and throughout other sustainability initiatives at the school and thought it might be nice to share the link to our blog with you and the community.

Thanks so much for all you do making Blackburn Hamlet such an amazing neighbourhood.
Well Laura, thank YOU for heading such a great project and for sharing your experiences. We wish you, your students, and your garden the best!
